Position Overview

The Merchandising & Marketing Internship offers hands-on experience in two key areas of the retail business. Interns will gain valuable exposure to merchandising, buying, and home marketing while supporting day-to-day business operations, digital marketing initiatives, and product assortment strategies. • Help develop marketing content, including social media, email campaigns, website content, and other promotional materials.
  • Assist with digital marketing efforts, including social media management, email marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Conduct market and trend research to identify customer insights, competitive activity, and emerging fashion trends.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist in preparing reports with data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Development, and Sales.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing files, managing databases, and coordinating meetings.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive retail landscape.

Qualifications

  • Must have a few days of open availability and be able to work a minimum of 20–25 hours per week.
  • Upcoming junior, senior, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Passion for fashion, home furnishings, retail, merchandising, and marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
