Grow With Gordon is a Kokomo-based ecological landscaping and garden design company focused on sustainable land care, edible landscapes, and long-term stewardship. We work with homeowners, institutions, and community partners across north-central Indiana.
This internship offers hands-on experience in sustainable landscaping, garden installation, and ecological land management through real projects and field-based learning.
Notice: This is an in-person position based in Kokomo, Indiana. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to local job sites. Remote work and relocation are not available.
Responsibilities
Assist with landscape installation, planting, mulching, and seasonal maintenance
Support garden and ecological design projects in the field
Learn basic tools, materials, and job-site safety practices
Participate in real-world problem solving related to soil, plants, and site conditions
Work as part of a small crew on residential and community projects
Qualifications
Interest in sustainability, environmental studies, agriculture, or related fields
Comfortable with outdoor, physical work
Willingness to learn and take direction
Reliable transportation to Kokomo-area job sites preferred
