SUMMARY
We are looking for a graduate student pursing a master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics to assist our current staff auditors in almost every aspect as it pertains to financial audits. This is a six-month commitment.
A good candidate for this position must possess the following skills:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
During your time as the Auditor Intern for Premier Group, you will perform and learn the following:
· Learn to prepare clear, and concise work papers that have definitive conclusions and follow documentation standards.
· Prepare meaningful and well-written audit recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence and the audit file.
· Research and apply accounting principles and auditing procedures to client engagements.
· Work on low- to medium-risk areas of audit and/or accounting engagements.
· Effectively communicate with client personnel and colleagues.
· Provide staff support in a fast-paced work environment with travel to multiple client sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
· Intermediate to advance excel skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to research and apply Federal regulations and accounting guidelines.
· Have a problem-solving altitude, an exceptional analytical skill, and demonstrate the ability to formulate alternative solutions to problems.
· Exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
· Organized with the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities.
· Have excellent computer and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to handle confidential information and work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
