Your Role

We’re hiring a Digital Product Manager to own our website and lead the launch of our first mobile app, improve conversion, and create a better shopping experience. You’ll help customers understand our products, choose confidently, and move smoothly from their first purchase to managing subscriptions and ordering replacement filters.

Leading a pod comprising engineering and UI/UX design, you’ll identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, and take improvements from idea through launch and measurement. You’ll own the commerce roadmap and build a steady rhythm of testing and iteration. You’ll also help carry our mobile app through launch and early growth. We’re looking for someone who pays attention to the details, brings ideas without waiting to be asked, and takes responsibility for results.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own the website and commerce roadmap. Take responsibility for the shopping experience and its performance. Proactively identify opportunities and prioritize improvements based on customer needs, business impact, and effort. This includes:
    • Ideating, building, and launching A/B tests
    • Evaluating buy vs. build for any website needs (e.g., Shopify app utilization vs in-house development)
    • Developing quarterly website key initiatives that contribute to revenue plans (e.g., AOV / UPT builds through website flows, bundling, improved lead capture)
  • Improve conversion. Understand where and why shoppers drop off using funnel analysis, customer feedback, and behavioral insights. Develop hypotheses, run experiments, and turn what you learn into measurable improvements.
  • Create better ways to shop. Bring fresh ideas to how customers discover products, understand their benefits, compare options, and choose what’s right for their home. Map user flows and partner with our UI/UX designer to bring those experiences to life.
  • Own the experience after purchase. Make it easy for customers to manage their accounts and subscriptions, find the right replacement filters, and reorder. Identify opportunities to improve subscription adoption, retention, and repeat purchasing.
  • Get features shipped. Work directly with our full-stack engineer and mobile development partners as we continue to build out the app to translate ideas into clear requirements, make practical tradeoffs, and deliver changes. Take ownership through development, QA, launch, and measurement.
  • Connect marketing to the shopping experience. Partner with marketing and creative to ensure product launches, campaigns, bundles, and promotions lead to clear, compelling experiences on the website and in the app. Partner with Lifecycle on how push and in-app messaging support retention and repeat purchase.
  • Launch our mobile app (near-term scope). Build on the work already underway to define scope, launch, and iterate on our mobile app. Partner with design and engineering to get it to market, set the metrics that tell us whether it’s working and manage app store requirements and releases. Use post-launch data and customer feedback to decide what to build next. As the app grows, we may bring in a dedicated mobile product manager, and you’ll help plan that handoff.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
    • 4+ years as a Product Manager in a high-agency, empowered environment
    • Experience owning ecommerce products or shopping experiences, with concrete examples of improvements you’ve shipped and the results they delivered.
    • (Nice-to-have) Experience launching or scaling a mobile app (iOS and/or Android), ideally a consumer or ecommerce app
  • Interpersonal:
    • Strong analytical skills. You can independently investigate funnel performance, interpret experiments, and connect customer behavior to commercial outcomes.
    • Creative product instincts and a sharp eye for usability. You can identify an unmet customer need and develop a thoughtful solution.
    • Comfortable mapping user flows, writing clear requirements, and working closely with designers and engineers.
    • Experience improving subscription, customer account, or repeat-purchase experiences.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and move work forward in a small team with competing demands.
    • Low ego, high ownership operator who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $130,000 – $155,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Position will be based out of Culver City, Los Angeles (Tu. – Th. in office/Mo. & Fr. remote)

Benefits & Perks

  • Option for fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Opportunity to contribute to 401k
  • Unlimited PTO plus 11+ paid holidays
  • Monthly wellness stipend
  • Free Sans product!
